Not many people get to out to Eastern Iceland. It is a long trek from Reykjavik and there are few towns. There are volcanos that reach down tot he icy sea. There is mile after mile of quicksand. There are remote, desolate beaches with driftwood that has come via the currents over the pole from Siberia. No bugs. No many mammals other than sea mammals. Puffins all around. This was the ultimate get in touch with nature location!!!!!
