Explorations around Reykjavik and the are near the Icelandic capital. Over 2/3rds of Icelanders live in the area....the rest of the island is largely empty. Reykjavik is hip, quirky, goofy and fun. It just doesn't seem like a capital city.....the outskirts of town quickly give way to beautiful, wild countryside.
