Sevilla Anadalucía España 2017
2500 year old Sevilla was called Spal under the Phoenicians and إشبيلية under the Moorish Umayyad Caliphate. It was the seat of the Reconquista of the Catholics. This city was one of the first to have running water and sewers. Large Jewish and Muslim sections of the city were forced to convert to catholicism. Many muslims headed south to Morocco which is part of the reason why there is a strong similarity between Andalucia and parts of Morocco. Christopher Columbus rests in the Cathedral. So much history in one city!!! It is also the capital of the ANDALUCÍA!
